Magpul PMAG 30 AR 300 Blackout GEN M3

Put it together, excited to go to the range. Got there expecting to use my 556 mags and I had constant failure to feed problems. It was basically a single shot I had to cycle after every round. Obviously, I was frustrated and started trying to figure out what was going on. After a bunch of research on the net talking about changing out buffers and Springs, adjustable gas blocks, switch to Dedicated 300 Blackout magazines, I decided to start with the cheapest simplest fix first, and purchased several of these dedicated 300 Blackout magazines from magpul. First thing I did when I got home was cycle every round in a 30 round magazine with the charging handle letting it slam forward into battery. Okay, no failure to feed, I'm thinking. Now let's take it out to the range and find out if it works in real life. I'm not going to lie I was a little nervous little scared cuz I wanted this rifle to work. Got it out to the range and it was flawless. Everything I had read seemed to be true. That the nose profile of subsonic 300 Blackout rounds is a little different and doesn't cycle well through 556 magazines, tending to cause failure to feed. If you're having any kind of cycling issues from FTF's like I was, buy and try these magazines first!
