I have used these belts for over 10 years specifically because of their stiffness (two flimsy belts sewn together to make a rigid belt) which I used for my IWB concealed carry. The belt sent to me was way too flexible for my intended use. I then went to a 5.11 dealer where I compared my \"new\" belt to one off the rack. Same name, same color, same item number...my \"new\" belt was very different from what 5.11 has sold in the past. \n5.11 your \"new\" stock belt is made to a much lower standard. Details count. Fortunately, the store exchanged my crappy \"new\" belt for a much better old one. For me, Wider Belts don't work, smaller belts don't work at all, and thin belts (one layer) are just too flimsy.
