Very tight. The size chart does not have XXL, & when I purchased, XXL was not an option, UNTIL I wanted to return them for being too small. My measurement just fit the size chart for L, but I couldn't get my hand in. Got an XXL, and they fit as a tight liner. As long as you have a glove over them, or there is no wind, they help with warmth. I was hoping to use as a light glove, but the wind goes right thru them. The gauntlet is also tightand LONG. It's all you can do to get it on over a sleeve. Once on, very hard to get the battery in. I tried putting the battery in 1st, but that made it that much more difficult to get on. Finally, the batteries are a Lithium Polymer, instead of Lithium Ion. Cheaper, but not as safe. Prior knowledge may have kept me from purchasing. Make sure you keep an eye on them when they charge, and remove them when done. Keep my hands warm while clearing snow from my driveway. MN winters are cold and snowy. I use the medium setting with these liners inside my insulated winter gloves. No more cold fingers. The liners seam to run on the smaller side. If you go below zero may need gloves over them. I wore them in 30 degree weather walking for about an hour. I had them on medium.
