This is no frills, practically designed, inexpensive, but very well made rain gear that, very simply, just plain gets the job the done. It doesn’t breathe the best, but it’s certainly not the worst. It’s lightweight, acceptably quiet for stalking or sitting in a tree stand, the Realtree Excape pattern blends well in a variety of settings, and most importantly, IT KEEPS YOU DRY!! I’ve used it, now, in steady light rain and in early season afternoon thunderstorm “gully washers”, and have yet to be wet under it after a rain. In my opinion, this set performs way above its price range in terms of effectiveness, comfort, packability, breathability and durability, while providing an agreeable amount of stealth. And lest I forget…there may not be a better company than Blocker at making affordable, high quality, scent-eliminating clothing that just about every “blue collar” hunter can afford and clothing that just simply does what it was designed to do without requiring an “average Joe” like me to take out a small loan.
