• I am a woman with broad shoulders. I found the women's XL of this jacket too snug and the men's large too big. I am 5'4" and 219 lbs. Would a men's medium or a women's 1X fit better?

The Men's Carhartt Washed Duck Insulated Active Hooded Jacket has a roomier fit compared to the women's version, especially in the shoulders and chest area. If you prioritize a looser fit in the shoulders and chest, a men's medium is likely the better choice. If you prefer a more structured fit, the women’s 1X may work better as it is designed for a broader range of motion while maintaining a feminine cut.
