I had first bought the shirt in a large only to find i was giant, so i returned it and ordered a medium instead. When i got the medium, is was still very big and the fabric felt rough and uncomfortable. I’m returning the medium and not even gonna bother with the small
I have worn Carhartt in one form or another in my 45 yrs. as a mechanic in Iowa. From boots, hooded sweatshirts, insulated over costs etc. Best clothing for me in all kinds of weather! If you work in cold weather, Carhartt is a must.
I am in the construction industry and often have a tough time finding work shits that fit comfortably. I have always relied on Carhartt. They are just cut right for my build and they outlast the others by two to three times or more. These t-shirts are so soft and comfortable.
This is a Carhartt classic and must. Great shirt, holds up well to work and wear. Heavier material so comfortable in the winter, but can tend to be hotter to wear in the outdoors in the summer. All around, a great quality product.
I almost always wear a K87 shirt for daily wear and work wear. I have learned that I prefer ones made in certain countries- i.e. Mexico, Guatamela and Honduras, because there can be serious size variations depending on the country they were manufactured in. I work as a bicycle mechanic and am able to get 99% of stains out of these. Great shirts.
Different fabric than advertised, lighter weight than expected
Description stated 90/10 cotton/poly blend; label on shirts shows them to be 60/40. That blend is often too hot to wear in the Summer. The shirts are larger than typical fit for labeled size. They also seem to be lighter weight than the usual Carhartt t-shirt.
Bought 6 shirts in size Large, 2 in Steel Blue, 2 in Stream Blue, 2 in Navy. The 2 in Steel are smaller than the others and thus not as comfortable. Checked the label - made in Haiti. The ones in Stream and Navy fit fine - made in Guatemala. Checked my 4 year old Steel shirts, which still fit fine, made in Guatemala. Evidently poor quality control for ones made in Haiti. I've loved the shirts I've had in the past; they are slightly loose and great for workouts. They last without shrinking, and no wear out holes under the arms. But, ones made in Haiti are not Carhartt quality.
I used the size guide to get an idea on how the shirts would fit. On the fit guide it said a small was 34-36 inches across. I just got the shirt and it is more around 20. Please change the fitment guide, it is not at all accurate. I would return the shirt, but the shipping price back is just not worth it.
Ordered two XL pocket T’s online, as that’s what I normally wear. Upon arrival I discovered that a they were larger than non-Carhartt XL’s. Contacted your Customer Service and a very professional “Cameron” promptly took care of me and I’m returning them for a refund. Even though they ran large, I liked the quality of the product, so I went to a Carhartt store in Lynnfield, MA and bought a L pocket T and it fits perfectly. Your product and no nonsense return policy have made me a Carhartt fan for life. Thanks!
