I also own several other pairs of Dan Post Boots in ostrich and lizard skin, and I'm satisfied with them as well. All of the Dan Post boots that I own were made in Mexico, but they are finely crafted. I recently ordered the black MILWAUKEE LEATHER BOOTS and when I received them, I noticed that they had a different fit and finish to them. I discovered the marking inside the boot shaft indicated that they were made in India. I returned them as I was not satisfied with the fit and finish. I asked the customer care service if I could get a pair made in Mexico like my others. They could not guarantee that I would. I re-ordered the boots and received a new pair which were made in Mexico, and I'm satisfied with them. Dan Post is one of the few makers that build a B last boot. Everyone does not wear a D, E, E+ width (last) boot/shoe. These are the lightest boots that I own, next to Cody James. I own pairs from Anderson Bean, Olathe, Cody James and Ariat and the Dan Posts are the ones I wear the most. My Olathes are 12. 5b, Anderson Bean and Dan Post are in 13b. The Olathe are much heavier than the Dan Posts but are extremely well made.
