I also own several other pairs of Dan Post Boots in ostrich and lizard skin, and I'm satisfied with them as well. All of the Dan Post boots that I own were made in Mexico, but they are finely crafted. I recently ordered the black MILWAUKEE LEATHER BOOTS and when I received them, I noticed that they had a different fit and finish to them. I discovered the marking inside the boot shaft indicated that they were made in India. I returned them as I was not satisfied with the fit and finish. I asked the customer care service if I could get a pair made in Mexico like my others. They could not guarantee that I would. I re-ordered the boots and received a new pair which were made in Mexico, and I'm satisfied with them.
