Constructed of full-grain leather and lightweight, durable Danner wedge outsoles, the unlined Bull Run work boot may look like a simple design at first glance. However, the trained eye will notice the intricate stitching, the hand of the leather, and how all of the parts work together to simply create a product that is built to last.

The only problem with the boots is the tongue wants to constantly work to one side. If it had a loop on it for the laces to go through and hold it these boots would be perfect. Add the loop and I’m good for another pair
I did as others suggested and purchased a half size smaller and they fit perfect! The first two days of limited use and they loosened up nicely. Protect your feet and drop the cash! Your feet are your transportation, protect them with quality.
I like the boots very much. I think that I would not get the wide EE size again. It seems the leather has stretched and I need to use insoles to fill the enlarged width. They felt good as I first started wearing them, but now I need to use two insoles which is awkward. I would also get the 8 inch rather than the 6 inch which I got. Material does get into the boot that I was not counting on. The workmanship on the boots is beautiful to see and experience. I'm 75 years old and wear them every time I work out doors which is on all days it is not raining.
Very comfortable out of the box. Was able to keep them on though a whole 8hr work day. My only gripe is how far down the laces go on the toe. I know thats kind of Danners thing. I did actually skip the bottom eyelets after the first week and now they are super comfortable. I actually try and find reasons to wear them when I'm off work.
Great, comfortable, durable boots. These are my 2nd pair, and the 1st is still going strong. The tongue doesn't like to stay centered, but after a couple of days of break-in, they are really comfortable. My only wish is that they offered the lace-ups with a 90 degree heel and black sole like the Wellingtons, but the wedge is more durable than expected, and works fine.
I have wore redwing boots for past 30 years and until now thought they were the best boot I had ever tried. I have got my first pair of Danner bull run boots and are by far the most comfortable boots out of the box I have ever wore.
I love these boots. I’ve had several other types of boots that took me weeks to break in. The soles of these boots were comfortable from day 1. The hardest part to break in was the opening, and it honestly wasn’t even that bad. After about a week and a half, these were cozy and wearable all-day, every day.
I’ve worn different Danners for the last six years and love the comfort and fit of every pair. I needed a solid pair of work boots for the daily grind on concrete and motorcycles. These boots fit the bill perfectly. Thanks Danner.
I ordered the boots directly from Sweden where I live. The boots came in perfect condition as expected. I'm 10 on the Brannock device so I ordered 10. The boots are just perfect in fit, with and comfort. I wore them directly from the box for 3 days without any break in period. Highly recommended.
They take a little while to break in, wearing them a few hours a day for 3 or 4 days makes the break in period much easier. Ultimately I wear these boots 12 to 16 hours a day 6 days a week and I think they’re very comfortable.
The only issue/gripe I have is in regards to the upper part of the tongue. It wears to the outside of the boot/foot, so after a few hours you need to rearrange and re-lace the boot. Maybe not sewn in squarely. I’ve owned/ worn Danner boots for almost 40yrs. and other than a pair made i China, that the sole came unglued...I love them all.
These are some comfortable muthafu@#ers. I like the way they look, I like the way they feel. I'm wearing them right now. I actually want to order another pair, just so I'll have a back up in 10 years after these are good and broken in!
These boots are awesome. It took a couple of days to break in but now they are perfect. I replaced the insoles with some better ones of course. I had the military version of this (Ft Lewis Go-Devils). Glad I found the civi version for my work.
These are substantial boots. Very sturdy, high quality leather. The shafts require some breaking in because they are thick leather. The foot of the boot was comfortable almost immediately. I would definitely buy them again.
