I walk miles every day training dogs as well as cleaning out the kennels. My shoes get wet several times a day. I only get about 2 to 3 months out of Salamon's or Keen's, they simply come apart. These Hoka's have held up by far the best of any shoe I have ever worn at the kennel. They are comfortable, have good traction, and keep my feet dry. I am on my second pair now and have worn them both during winter and summer months. The only negative is the shoestring eyelets, they have very aggressive stippling on the inside to hold the shoestrings in place, but they chew the shoestrings up and cause them to come apart much too soon. I've had to replace both sets on my two pairs of Hoka hiking boots. I am much harder on footwear than the average person.
