I own four of these in different colors. Upper outside pocket is perfect for my cell phone, internal pocket is great for everything else. Great fit, and very good looking. People say that "they like my jacket" almost every time I'm out and about.
American company that tailors their clothes to our smaller European brothers. I am 5'6', 165lbs, usually wear a medium. Had to buy a large if i want to wear a sweater or fleece under this jacket. Also, all the pockets are very small, just big enough to put cell phone in. The hand pockets, if you want to put your hands in your going to have to make fists to fit them all the way in. Jacket length is good, sleeves are maybe an inch or two long for my arm length, otherwise, I like the jacket and will keep it.
I bought this jacket to replace my usual hunting/ military pattern jackets for those cool casual nights out on the town. Great looking, comfortable and very well made. Kuhl products will not disappoint.
I love the look of this jacket, but it is a little stiff and the pockets are really small. I can’t get my hands in them fully, can’t really to get my iPhone (the smaller version) to fit comfortably in the pocket either. Not sure why they would design them this way.
Great jacket. Runs small but that's of no issue. Pockets. Every pocket is extremely small & shallow to a point where they are unable to fit your entire hand in the lower pockets & stuff easily falls out. The inside chest pocket is small so that you can't put much of anything in there. I feel the quality is going to withstand the abuse & wear well. Price is very fair especially when compared to other Kuhl apparel pricing. All in all I think it's a goor jacket & would have been a lifelong top notch jacket had the pockets not been so uncomfortably small. All that said, I would probably buy it again because of the look & price.
I love this jacket: medium insulation without bulk, feels great, looks great, and the fit is mostly true to size. However, the sleeves are very, very long. For reference, I'm 5'8" 190# athletic build, and I wear a 42R jacket with a 16-33 shirt. I'm annoyingly between a M and L in most brands, but Kuhl tends to fit a bit trimmer than most, so I ordered a large. The torso fit me perfectly, but the sleeves were 3-4" too long for me (interestingly, same with the Thor 1/4 Zip sweater, which I ordered at the same time). So I took this to a good tailor, had them shorten the sleeves by about 3" (keeping the cuffs), and now it fits perfectly (just past my wrist). The alterations cost me about thirty bucks, but it's absolutely worth it, because I'm going to wear this jacket all the time. So, know that this is an excellent jacket, but be prepared for extra-long sleeves.
I had a burr jacket, but got rid of it years ago. I quickly realized my mistake, thus I bought a new one. Love this jacket. The hand warner pockets are a little small, but other than that, it's a home run. It would be nice to have the XXXl sizes on the website.
Indeed a very nice jacket. I was however surprised by the lining which I didn’t quite expect to be of that weight. The second surprise was its fitment. The jacket runs a bit big and as such can be a tad annoying, but still wearable. All in all, a well built jacket that will serve me well I hope.
Love the jacket. Perfect weight for spring and breezy days near or on the water. Gun metal color is a green moss which suits me just fine. Looks great. Quality material which will last for years. 5'11" 185 large size.
