I'm surprised by this since I have a pair of pants from Khul and they had extra space everywhere. The size chart is a joke and not even close to what you would buy. If I follow the chart I'm like an XS which I am not even close to. I tried a medium, which is what I should be, but ended up exchanging for a large. The jacket itself lives up to the Khul standards. A nice look and a good product. It's a good light jacket with a soft lining in the chest, fleece, and the silky like material in the sleeves. 3 Pockets on the outside and one on the inside, all have zippers. If I had to complain, the zipper is a bit stricky, but sturdy, which makes it rough if it rubs on the skin. As mentioned it does run a bit small, primarily through the shoulder due to the form fitting cut of the jacket at the arm pits. If you plan to layer under it you will definitely want to size up. I use it over a base layer, but you could run a puffer vest if you wanted. I wound up waxing mine because it was staying in the closet too frequently if the forecast called for rain. The canvas is a nice mid-weight, but offers no real weather protection. After waxing, I love this jacket. The color is great (deep olive) and the patina adds without being intrusive. I used Otter Wax at first (very similar to Kuhl wax, but I had it on hand). That was so-so. Lot's of streaking and mottling. Went over it with a second layer using Trilanco Gold (paraffin and petroleum jelly blend) and a heat gun and the results are excellent. The first coat I ordered was a xxl my regular size but when it arrived the chest was a little tight and under my arms need a little more room. I bought the Next size xxxl and it fit great. So if your big like me 6-2 and 250lbs go for the next size.
