The product is great quality and always fits nice but for that much money I expect free shipping. I feel like that is very common thing for companies and this is the first time I have ordered directly from your company and didn’t get that luxury.
Purchased a lined Burr jacket originally in the wrong color, my fault. Only $7.00 on a quick return. Got the color I should have order and the jacket looks and fits great. Solid stitching, quality zippers and material. Will for sure purchase more items from Kuhl. Very pleased.
Obnoxiously small pockets, but a real sharp looking jacket.
The pockets are needlessly small. I say needless because there is plenty of room in the lining for the pockets to be double in size. These pockets will barely fit an iPhone 11 or Samsung S10. Only one inside pocket on the right side.
That's the only downside. The jacket fits as advertised. The jacket is an absolute looker and the right weight for temperatures 40-60°F.
This jacket is really nice and the fit was perfect. It is warm and resists wind well, construction seemed flawless and my movement in it never seemed obstructed. The only flaw in my opinion were the hand pockets. They were small and too shallow to get my hands in them. The look is flawless.
Loves the light weight, but is warm too! I would suggest going up a size...my husband typically wears a large but this jacket is an XL. runs tight across chest and arms and he is has muscles so the XL fit perfectly!
Bought this jacket for my husband who is always cold and has never had a nice looking jacket. He’s still cold and has to layer (I could of bought a warmer jacket - but love the look of this one). Very nice looking jacket, I have noticed it on others and admired and he looks very nice in this jacket. He loves it and it will be wonderful for early spring and fall.
I have the regular Burr jacket, and it is sufficient, with a light fleece underneath, for -5 to -10 °c. This one takes that down quite a ways further. It offers good wind resistance, too. Looks great, very comfortable to move in, and the collar feels good on my neck (even with a beard!). My only gripe, if I were to nitpick, would be to say that the hand pockets are very small, like the regular Burr.
Have not been disappointed yet. It just fits, wears well and my wife likes it! This will be a keeper. Somehow I think it will out last me. Compromise is the word of the day. The Kuhl folks don’t and the end product reflects that.
I love the coat I ordered, the service was great and when my credit card decided to place my order multiple times I called customer service and someone answered on the first ring. 5 minutes later my extra order was cancelled and I was on my way, Thanks Kuhl!
My only complaint is that I wish it had Tab snaps at waist to make a bit more snug. I’m 6’ 175ibs with a 33” waist and it’s a bit big on waist size Large. Can see it be a problem with cool air rising underneath. Otherwise it’s a great jacket.
I love the material, zippers and furry collar. The two front hand pockets are too shallow however. Only 2/3 of my hands fit in, leaving my wrists exposed. It looks like there is room to make those pocket liners bigger/deeper but currently they are small, which detracts from their usefulness.
Like everyone else, I don't quite get the depth of pockets thing. Luckily I have small hands so it's not really an issue, but I can certainly see how others would find major concerns with a pocket that could hold a pack of gum and little else. With that being said, the jacket is extremely high quality, very warm, and my go-to every day.
This thing is amazing! I've gotten lots of compliments on it already. After wearing it for a couple of weeks it seems to be forming to my body shape. It's a great shell that breaks the wind and is warmer than it feels like it will be as the insulation isn't very thick, but I'm still comfortable in 40°F. If I was working in 30°F with a base layer I think I'd be comfortable in it. It just feels like a durable, quality medium-light jacket.
I bought this for my man and he said it is his favorite jacket. Perfect level of warmth for the PNW climate, and can stand a bit of rain without him getting soaked. The fit is great. He is six foot and about 175lbs and the L fit well. His only complaint was that the side pockets are quite shallow. But the number of pockets makes up for it.
