I finally decided to give the vest a go and now wear it all the time. It fits the same as the jacket and has all the same pocket layouts. My only complaint (which isn’t necessarily a bad thing) is it feels lighter and the outside material has a more synthetic feel. It does not feel as thick or as durable as my older jacket. I took it into Murdoch’s to see if I could return or warranty it, but that isn’t something that is covered, so I just have to take the hit on it. It’s a good looking vest, but it does not belong in the workplace where you’re doing anything around tools, dirt or really anything hands on since the fabric is delicate. I have the similar jacket with the same fabric, and now that I know that it is not durable, I will not be wearing it at work.
