Waistband chaffed hips when wearing backpack even with belt. Looked like my other hiking pants do after 2 entire seasons. I do not understand how these get good reviews. If all I did was wear them around town I’d say they are comfortable. However they need some serious retooling if they are going to be taken seriously for outdoor pants. For the price I cannot believe I wasted 200 bucks. There is a competitive market for hiking pants. Go elsewhere if you are using these outside.
