I have multiple pairs of Kuhl pants, all 32/33x30. Sadly no 2 pairs fit the same. I recently bought 2 pr of Ryder Pant, both 32x30. One was too small to button, the second I could fit but way too tight in the legs despite being \"full\" cut. However, my Chino lite classics, same size fit perfectly. The first one is great. I think it’s some form of light khaki. I love them. Recently I bought a second pair in Dark Khaki. After the first wash, these came out of the washing machine with light colored lines crazed all over them. Like the light variations at the bottom of a pool. I know that kuhl says that the colors will fade, but not they they will fade into odd patterns so as to make your pants look acid-washed. I would return them if I could. Looking at Reddit, there are several threads where this “fading” is discussed with pictures. Not the waist--that stays the same--but the length of the legs shrinks upwards between 1.5 - 2 inches! I even did a short, cold wash and no dryer (that's my standard for pants). Unfortunately, I spent $450 on 4 pairs of 38x30 Law and Rydr pants (gun metal, black, and espresso are awesome colors, for what it's worth!!), and now I can't return them because they've either been worn, washed and shrank 2 inches, or still have the tags on them and it's been past 30 days (went on a buying spree of Kuhl jackets and pants in October and November). BTW - I mentioned this in my review of the Law pants, but I did buy a 38x32 pair of Law pants in Espresso from a Jax store, and sure enough, they shrank almost 2 full inches after 1 wash and now fit me perfectly. Wish I had seen other reviews mentioning this (it is the only reason I am giving these and the Law pants 3 stars). Got this pair and they are as good as they were but they changed the button from the snap to a regular Jean style button. So far still love them. After the first wash they look terrible. White chalk-like marks on the legs. I brought them back to the store where I purchased. 3 weeks later I get this response from Kulhl - “ This only occurs when the proper care techniques are not followed. Like leather goods, those are important to follow to ensure the intended aging happens properly. Fortunately, with continued wear and wash, the creasing will fade as the intentional fade of the rest of the pant happens.\" Sorry, when I bought the pants I didn’t realize I was purchasing a leather goods. I threw the pants into the wash inside as the tag says. Now kuhl says this: EXKLUSIN CARE INSTRUCTIONS • Machine wash cold • Do not bleach Cotton, Spandex - tumble dry low. Well, that’s not what the tag on the pants says. And I don’t typically go the ‘website’ before I wash each item of my clothing. The fact that the store/kuhl took 3 weeks to even get back to me and then tells me it’s my fault for not reading the care instructions on their website is making me revisit my loyalty to this brand and store. Not sure why I have to submit my height, body type and outdoor credentials to submit a product review??!!
