The pocket is stitched to the hem of the shorts but the pocket then pulls up the hem and it doesn’t lay flat; it puckers the hem and the shorts look cheap. I don’t see this in any of the advertising photos or videos. Kuhl replaced the first pair of Renegades. The replacement are a little better; wore them this summer but not out to dinners or such because of the look. I bought the Silencer Kargos last spring, wore them maybe once or twice, the look bugged me so I relegated them to the bottom of my shorts drawer. Switching out for winter gear and “found” them which is why I’m late with this review.
