Not the waist--that stays the same--but the length of the legs shrinks upwards between 1.5 - 2 inches! I even did a short, cold wash and no dryer. It's insane. Unfortunately, I spent $450 on 4 pairs of 38x30 Law and Ryder pants that fit perfect in the store or when I got them delivered, and now I can't return because they've either been worn, washed and shrank 2 inches, or still have the tags on them and it's been past 30 days (went on a buying spree of Kuhl jackets and pants in October and November). I don't like black pants normally, but I love these. Just bummed they're going to be a waste after the first wash. BTW - I did buy a 38x32 pair of these in Espresso from a Jax store, and sure enough, they shrank almost 2 full inches and fit me perfectly.
