My wife and I live in Costa Rica and hike often. We are currently in the rainy season here and sometimes end up in downpours during our hiking trips. This rain jacket has been a big disappointment. It doesn’t hold up 10 minutes before the water has soaked through the “breathable” but yet “waterproof” fabric. I bought this jacket from Scheels. I’m not sure what the purpose of purchasing a raincoat like this is.
