Upgraded hunting clothes this year, went with Sitka, wanted LaCrosse Alpha Burly boots, good price on boots, fast delivery, have other Alpha Burly boots, I expect these boot to preform as always.
So far so good.well constructed, nice fit. Fine for extended walking and decent traction on snow and ice. Snug ankle fit great for walking a little effort for on&off. Overall very pleased long term will tell the value story.
I bought these this fall as an upland boot to wear when I’m going to places with marshes or cricks/streams. Functionally they worked perfectly all season. Feet were warm and dry. However the cammo pattern took a huge hit and has worn significantly just after 1 season
Been using Lacrosse boots for years. They have come a long way from the old green pull ons. I just got back from a public land hunt where I walked over 5 miles in them in a day. They are very comfortable, have great traction, and kept my feet warm and dry.
Fits as expected. The 800’s are great for 50-30 degree temps. They’ll work below 30 if you’re moving (vs sitting in a stand) or w battery operated socks. I like the 800’s because they are not so bulky.
I bought these to replace a 7 year old pair of LaCrosse boots that cracked and leak water. I was happy with my old boots and was hoping these wouldn't disappointed. So far they have lived up to my expectations. I would say these run a bit large in sizing. I normally wear and 11.5 or 12, but ordered up one size to give myself some extra space. I have LOTS of space now. I can wear my heaviest socks and still have some room to spare.
This is my second pair to replace my older, 15yr old ones, and they are just as hoped and expected. Thank you Scheels for the great deal and fast shipping.
Great boots! Thought they would be a little tight to size, but after 20 minutes, boots loosened up and conformed. Using for plowing snow and working property.
Great boots very comfortable and fits true to size! Haven’t had them that long to be a perfect judge. One thing right off the bat I wish they had a little spur or something on the heel to help take off because taking them off is a bit of a pain.
These boots are my 2nd pair of Lacrosse boots...by choice! I still have my early season ones I wear and not have my late season boots. These are the most comfortable, well made, best warrantied boots there are for their purpose.
I purchased of new boots hoping they were as good as the ones I bought nine years ago. I use them mainly for bowhunting and trapping. Sometimes farm work. They are great, very comfortable and warm. I only bought a new pair cause they were on sale. The old pair still ate fine. I would recommend them to any sportsman.
Nice boots overall. Decently comfy and warm for rubber boots. Better than the UA HAW 2.0 boots I had. These should hold up much better. The sizing seems to be right on. I got my normal boot size and can fit a wool socks in them perfectly. My only gripe is that the front weld of the boot hurts my shin if I am walking up and incline or taking longer steps. I tested these out in the store and noticed this. Secondly the calf straps are nice but the clip where you put the strap sucks. It doesn't hold it well if at all. I like to stalk my deer and it can click on brush if I don't wear pants over it.
I wear them with 2 layers of merino socks in 40 degree to 0 degree weather all day without my feet getting cold. The roll down upper is a nice benifit. They are a little tight in taking them off.
