Fits true to my size 11 foot. I really like the quick lace feature and the laces themselves are extremely tough. They were a bit rigid at first but inside them for a couple days of errands and they molded to my feet. I use them for desert tactical training and from running to squatting and kneeling, these shoes held their own. Bonus points for no pain in my feet the next day. Really hold up under the tough conditions, great traction, very comfortable, and look really good as well. However, the \"speed lacing system\" is terrible. It works great for about a month of everyday use and then the outer coating on the lace wears off showing the white \"Kevlar?\" inner lace which, while mot breaking makes it difficult if not impossible keeping them laced tightly. When you go to replace them only then do you discover that the boots eyelets have an \"inner liner.\" I presume this is to reinforce the eyelet. The only problem is that this liner \"flattens\" out making it extremely difficult and frustrating trying to feed the laces through, even following the lacing instructions to the tee. I find I have to jam a fork prong or something similar into the eyelet liner ton\"open\" it back up enough to get the new lace through. What shold be a 10 minute job ends up taking 30 minutes or more and a lot of frustration and cussing. These are not inexpensive boots. You would.have thight the designers wiukd have figured out this flaw and corrected it before putting them out on the market. These boots fit true to the size chart. So where I'm usually a size 12, the way my foot measures according to the chart on Salomon I wear an 11.5 and the boot fits perfectly. I wear these boots when doing any outdoor activity to include training that involves running. The boots are lightweight, durable, and resistant to the elements. The only small drawback is that the pull string tie does loosen after a bit of time.
