I wear a 34x34 pant and the size medium fit very well even over a pair of jeans. Not baggy at all just run big on sizing. Great for laying under if it’s cold out. With a thermal pant under I wore these in 35 degree temps with a breeze and stayed warm enough until temps warmed up to 55 in afternoon. Any colder I would need to layer more. Fabric seems to be very tough. No snags or collecting burrs whatsoever. And they were 100% windproof in the 35 mph wind gusts I sat in. I didn’t get to find out if they repel water but I will in the future. For a wide range of terrain , temps these Boundary pants and Jacket are unbeatable . The fit , function and comfort are top notch , great wind breaking capacity with just the right amount of insulation . I can wear these from opening day to closing day with the right layers . The Veil Verdant camo blends in everywhere . I can white tail and turkey hunt in Bama , Elk hunt Colorado and Duck hunt North Dakota in this one pattern . \nGreat Quality , great product . So, I figured I'd get the matching pants. I love these too.\nLike the jacket, the pants fit very well. I do wish they would have a bit more room in the butt (not that I'm that fat) or that the waist would come up higher in the back. They just feel just a bit tight when sitting, squatting, bending over, lifting the leg when stepping up, etc. Otherwise, the fit is good and there is plenty of room for layering when needed. These pants easily pull over my pair of light weight pants (for the hike in) and provide enough extra warmth for a moderately cold day. I would want more thickness for days that drop below the mid-teens. \nThe lower leg side zippers come up to the knee and are roomy enough to get my big boots thru with no problem. \nZippered pockets are roomy enough for a few items that I don't want to shove in my pack and the zippers run easily and don't bind up. The zipper-pull could be a bit bigger for gloved hands, but I can live with that. \nNon-zippered pockets are deep and roomy. I don't think I'd have to worry about anything falling out when moving around. They are rather loose at the top which makes them easier to get gloved or cold hands inside, but I also tend to get twigs, leaves and other things inside at times as well. Maybe some elastic at the top of the pocket would help. \nThe suspenders are a nice feature. They're light weight and narrow so they're not bulky underneath what may already be lots of clothes. The bead of rubber on the underside helps to hold them nicely in place and from slipping off the shoulders when moving. (The waist band on theses pants also have the same type of rubber bead to help hold them in place). Personally, I would like the suspenders a bit wider just for feel. Unfortunately, they are held to the pants with G-hooks. And while this is a nifty idea for getting them on and off quickly, they mostly come off quickly and I have a hard time keeping them connected to the pants. Gated G-hooks would work great in place of non-gated hooks. They're also a bit fussy when trying to get them in the little hole while putting them on. I'm going to find wider suspenders and sew them into place. I'll use the G-hooks for something else.\nI have only used these pants for a handful of hunts and overall, I give them a 4/5. They work... and that's what I want. I couldn't beat the price when they went on sale. Even at regular price they're a good deal for the overall quality and features that they have. I don't think you'll be disappointed in getting a pair. Spent a lot of time looking at other brands but could not justify the money. They held up well to hiking in the snow and through creeks. Spent a half hour sitting in the snow to get the shot and they kept me dry. They also held up well scrambling over rocks and climbing over all the deadfall.
