Customer service was not helpful and only suggested to spend more money on another product they sell. You just have to open it, add his food as required and close it up :)\r\n\r\nI would recommend this for dogs and cats. A USB chargeable version would be even better. \r\n\r\nIt’s durable enough to stand a 40kg lab trying to open it to snarf all the food! When I just had one cat (who wouldn't over eat if over served) this was perfect for taking weekend trips away from home and still knowing she'd be well fed. When I got my second cat (who absolutely would gorge herself silly if given the chance) this feeder turned into her 4-measured-meals a day style feeder that goes off every six hours but only needs to be refilled once a day. (The other one has a microchip enabled feeder where only she can graze now.)
