Recently bought this one and after a few days of cleaning it… the water stops flowing on the plastic nub, hits just behind it, and becomes super loud! I clean it again and everything is fine and then a few days later it gets loud again! It’s as if you all should make it a slide where the water hits and flows into the bowl helping cancel the sound! Is there a way to prevent this? I almost regret getting this upgrade and kept the old model. The only thing with that is the old was a PITA to clean out! I bought this one but regret it! I miss the old one. It was nice and quiet with a good stream of water. This one has a pitiful small stream even though we've taken it apart and cleaned it numerous times. We've had it 2 months and the stream misses the ramp no matter how you adjust it. We finally taped a piece of plastic to try and get it to fall on the ramp and not plop into the bowl of water. When it does, it's SO LOUD you can hear it all over the house. Great product for my cats, who love the fountain aspect and water tgat is clean and filtered. They tebd to flup bowls when they become less than fredh, so great option for them.
