Love the color, You will need to "fluff" the strings to make it lay more uniformly. You can see through parts of it (don't wear bright colors under it) Great Ghillie - although it "sheds" kinda easy. Some of the strings(fibers) are poorly sewn on. OVERALL though, it looks a works GREAT. I laid down in the snow near a path & my friends walked right past me w/o noticing!!
Product seems good for price. Haven’t used it in the field yet, for turkey and bow hunting. Took hours of time to comb out strands and untangle for uniform coverage of ghillie effect. Used a large hair pic comb gently to tease fiber strands. Too aggressive and you will pull out fiber strands. Lost about a cantaloupe size ball of fibers off suit of primarily loose strands due to manufacture based attachment process. Still looks good and functional. Will not use to walk in thick cover, brush or briars as will snag. Bring it to stand locations or open access routes.
Material or threads are installed very sparingly. The head covering is a nightmare in regard to fit and it traps in a ton of heat. I tried to spread out the material to give it better coverage but the results did not help a great deal. Also the material is torn off with minimal effort by branches and brush. Hindsight is 20/20 and if I could go back in time I would simply order a Ghillie frame that you can tie material on to. The jacket does not cover as seen in the image. That garment seems to have 3x as much material attached. For deer hunting this would not last many stalks. Would be good for bow hunting in a ground or tree stand if you trim away the material on the arms. Going to cut the pants open and use them as camo for my dogs blind. This being said, the ducks to not see me when I am wearing the jacket and the head covering; that is why it was purchased and so feel obligated to give it 3 stars.
I looked around for Ghillie suits that were convincing me that they blend in. This one does it. I will be buying another one in the green color and maybe snow as well. The suit is very durable and fits well.
