I’ve spotted bedded deer tucked in mesquite bushes that I would have normally missed with regular binoculars. The stillness makes it easy to identify anything that appears to be an antler even in shaded areas. As good as they are, there is also room for improvements. I would suggest the adjustment not be so touchy. The eye relief would be perfect if the eye cups would have enough for one more click outward, or this issue could also be resolved if Sig created an accessory attachment for a forehead rest. Final recommendation is to add a little texture on the sides for better grip or an indentation where thumbs normally sit. I always here Alpha glass, but to be honest when you have to spend time pulling it out of your pack getting a tripod out it was often not worth the time, when you are running and gunning Elk hunting I would often glass off my chest. I now have a pair that can do both, and the stabilization is game changer. Im now ruined because looking through anything that is not stabilization its not even fun. I have shot better at 3ds and when glassing for Elk and deer I can see them so much faster. The only thing I would do is look thru the different magnification, the 18x50 seemed blurry to me but the 14x50 and 16x50s were money. The non Hdxs also have different scan modes and that was another reason I went with the 50s.
