We love to play in the yard, but my pup was interested in chasing traffic. After 2 weeks, my lab is no longer reactive to moving wheels! He even let a motorcycle (his favorite) go by without stepping towards the street. This device may have saved his life. The setup was straightforward, though it did require charging right out of the box. Unfortunately, the charger port was bent, which prevented the remote from achieving a full charge—an unexpected inconvenience. Sizing the collar to our dog was a breeze, and it felt sturdy and of good quality. Both the vibration and shock modes are customizable, which is a great feature. We found the best response at level 7 for our dog. While the trainer has a slight learning curve, it's manageable and could work well for most dog owners. Overall, I'd rate it a 7/10. It’s a good trainer but has room for improvement. We only use it to the lowest setting sometimes at level 2. Took a while for our dog to get used to the collar. It's amazing how much more responsive she is to commands while walking or during off leash training sessions she is and 95% of the time it's just the fact that the collar is on not that we are even using the vibration feature. Would recommend for if you are going to take the time to properly introduce the collar. This isn't just an immediate fix we followed the guide of the book along with the dog trainer we were using.
