I wanted something for home defense and didn't want to spend a ton of money. After reading reviews I chose this one. Glad I did, I love it so much its my edc and I actually love range days with it. Weight is balanced so recoil isn't as harsh as I was expecting at all. It's accurate right out of the box. I now have put 1000 rounds through it and it hasn't had a single failure. Taurus really did step up their game with their g series handguns. Love the grip on it. Truly is a workhorse gun.","textLength":524,"csFlag":false,"inappropriateFlag":false,"reviewedFlag":true,"autoModerated":true,"published":true,"incentivized":false,"upVotes":1,"downVotes":0,"orderId":null,"dimensions":[{"type":1,"dimensionId":3,"dimensionLabel":"Value","id":11,"code":"VAL05","label":null,"value":5},{"type":1,"dimensionId":4,"dimensionLabel":"Durability","id":16,"code":"DUR05","label":null,"value":5},{"type":1,"dimensionId":5,"dimensionLabel":"Quality","id":21,"code":"QUAL5","label":null,"value":5}],"responses":[],"tags":[],"media":{"photo":[],"video":[],"audio":[]},"user":{"nickName":null,"firstName":null,"lastName":null,"emailAddress":null,"externalId":null,"city":null,"state":null,"country":null,"ageRange":null,"badge":null,"shopperProfiles":[]},"reviewedDate":"2026-03-24T10:11:45-04:00","purchaseDate":null,"dateCreated":"2026-03-23T23:49:09-04:00","customData":[],"acceptedTermsAndConditions":true,"incentiveType":null,"campaign":null,"deviceFingerprint":null,"topics":[{"name":"grip","score":0.76},{"name":"reliability","score":0.46},{"name":"accuracy","score":0.77}],"catalogItems":[{"sku":"2739-1G3C931","title":"Taurus G3C Compact 9mm Pistol","url":"https://www.scheels.com/p/2739-1G3C931","category":"semi-automatic-pistols","reviewCount":26,"ratingCount":26,"averageRating":4.4,"ratingBreakdown":{"1":2,"2":0,"3":0,"4":8,"5":16},"active":true,"attributes":[]}]},{"id":5734301,"locale":"en_US","rating":5,"title":"Great price, great quality.","text":"Absolutely great carry piece.
