Both will not work in my 308 WIN Howa Rifle. The rifle leveling tool will not fit in the chamber on the bolt rails, but will work in my 25-06 Marlin XL7 rifle and it will work in both of my 30-06 Remington 700's. I know the package says will work with most rifles, and the instructions gives you ways to use it with small receivers (short action I assume) rifles. I should of just paid the extra $20-$25 and bought the one that clamps to the barrel.
