The cuff is so tight I cannot wear my watch under these mittens. It’s difficult to pull them over a winter coat/jacket. The size I’ve ordered is already slightly large in the hands so I can’t wear a larger size.\nPros: the mitts are not overly bulky so easy to maintain use of your hands, nice materials - hands stay dry, and a soft, comfortable liner material. The heat distribution was excellent including the thumb! \nAs another Raynaud’s person here - the mitts heated well but with the batteries in the cuffs they are just too tight. It’s as if the testers did not wear them with the batteries in or not over a winter coat sleeve. The deal breaker for me was a heated thumb. I live in the mountains, and run in a canyon that gets VERY COLD. Cold hands can ruin a run, and these mittens allow me to start out toasty. When I run with regular (non heated) mittens, my poor thumb gets cold. I usually just pull it out of the thumb slot and keep it near my palm. Not an issue with these..... I used the sizing chart (measure 8.5 inches) and went with the women's L/XL they are a tad bit tight, and wish I ordered the men's version which allows for larger knuckle circumference. In the hand/palm area there was some “warmth”, but definitely not hot; the heating “wires” are on the top of the hand and because they are mittens I had to bunch up my fingers to touch the top of the mitts to warm my fingers.
