Bought them for on-the-ground viewing of polar bears in norther Canada in early November. I wore them for nine days, six of which were in 4x4 vans which we exited periodically to stand on the ground, in below freezing weather, to photograph the bears and other wildlife. We were outside 30-60 minutes at a time. My feet were never cold and never uncomfortable. . I wear a 7. 5 shoe and the 8 in the boot was perfect. They are so comfortable and soft! When I first saw the box they arrived in, I was a little bit confused. . I usually wear size 7, how can my boots be that huge?! lol, I thought there was a mistake with the size. . . But once I put them on , they wrapped my legs like a cloud. You cannot expect delicate look like Columbia or other brands which dont have all these inner layers, but they are not clumsy at all !
