I can definitely tell where the insulation/omni heat ends and do wish it extended to the full length of the jacket. My biggest qualm with the jacket though is the pockets—WHY??? While it’s nice that they’re large and deep, I absolutely abhor that they’re on the front of the jacket and I can’t nicely tuck my hands in—being on the front with only the thin jacket material means not nearly as much warmth as it would be if they were tucked inside like normal (sensible) pockets. Otherwise, great jacket. I do appreciate the removable faux fur lining as well as the adjustable hood. I bought the olive green color and love how it goes with everything. I’m 5’4, 135 and bought a medium. Ordered a navy and black coat in the shorter version last winter. Gained some weight, so I needed to order a new coat. Found this longer version and decided to give it a try. \nMy only complaint is more purplish/maroon than the pictures show, but that’s my fault and I should have looked at review photos before purchasing. It’s not bad, but I was looking for it to he more cranberry in color like their photos show. The sleeves are 3 1/2 - 4 inches too long. I have long arms but even these are too long. I like the coat it looks great, just like the pictures. I also took a photo with my fist balled up (you can't see my hands). Unfortunately, I am going to return.
