I was wrong! The West Rivers fit my foot exceptionally well due to their narrow heel & wide forefoot design. My feet don’t shift forward & my forefoot isn’t squeezed, which is fantastic considering my bunions & great toe fusion. The insulation is great, my feet stay warm & don’t get sweaty. The support is fantastic. They are lightweight despite their structure. Bonus: these are WATERPROOF & can be resoled! These boots haven’t required any break in time. I work outdoors in Northern Nevada and see all of the elements. I have really loved wearing them so far. The salesman I spoke with at scheels in Sandy, Utah was very knowledgeable and he even showed me a cool way to lace up the boots to reduce pressure on the top of my foot.
