They're the perfect weight for Arizona (or hot summers anywhere). So I decided to try the shorts. This should tell other customers that at least this one customer really likes these shorts. Yes, they are a bit pricey, but worth it in my view since I plan to wear them all summer. The light colors (birch, ash, desert sage, thistle) are all subtle enough to go with almost any tops. The most important info to share, however, is the fit. Finally, I found the best fitting light weight summer shorts with a true medium rise (and inch or so below the belly button which is the most comfortable), a bit, but not too much stretch combined with a flattering 6\" inseam. Plus the high quality material is easy to watch in cold water and let dry naturally and doesn't feel hot especially on scorcher days. I am 5'8\" and weigh 160 pounds. The 14 fits the best in terms of sizing for this style.
