I will say they run slightly large (I usually wear an 8.5 or 9 and wear an 8 in these) but had no problems once I was able to find the right size. I was sick of expensive rain boots that started leaking after a year of light use and these have been so durable. I’ve worn them in the snow, tidepooling, on wet sand, in mud, and climbing rocky terrain. They have withstood scrapes and bending without tearing and always keep me warm and dry. If water goes above the boot a bit trickles down (as to be expected) but they’re surprisingly good at keeping water out even then. They have gotten very wet inside multiple times when I fell in water or unexpectedly got splashed by a wave. Sometimes I work in my ski/snowboard boots, sometimes I work in my Muck boots. But on average, I work 4 days a week for 6 months of the year in deep snow and cold conditions. I’ve put these through the wringer and I recommend them. Just a couple heads up: they’re waterproof but make my feet sweat quite a bit, so as long as I stay moving, my feet stay warm. If I have to stand still for a long time in conditions around 15F or colder, my feet will get cold (and I don’t run cold). I noticed last year that my heel has completely rubbed through the lining straight to rubber, and water seeps through. I’d say for how much I use these, that’s not an indication of poor construction. I live in Maine and have had trouble finding boots that are warm enough, tall enough for snow, actually fully waterproof, and have a decent tread. These are 100! They are also cute enough to wear around town. I’ve never been warmer. I am so bummed, the boots took weeks to arrive and when they finally did I needed to request an exchange for a larger size through customer support email, tried calling and texting no one ever answered. Then one day just got an email with a return label no instructions or reply to any messages. Still nothing and I’ve sent the boots back and no idea what’s happening now. I have been getting Arctic sport boots for the last 30 years and the quality seems to have diminished. The sole of the shoe is not as thick are it used to be causing less protection from the cold. Sadly, when they finally fell apart and I just replaced them, but the new models just aren’t the same. My older ones were thicker, more durable and had a better feel from warmth to traction to fitting tighter around my calf. I loved them for ice fishing, mucking around in slush, all of it.
