However, I have a curvy/athletic shape.. small waist with big glutes & quads. Usually a Higher waist Medium will do the trick, but not for this skirt. The waist was big enough that it was gapping noticeably at the back while the undershorts were pretty tight. Passable on the Medium, but no way a small would have fit. I am 5’3” and 107 lb, I bought a size XS which is what I also wear in Alo. The sides of this skirt are 15” and this skirt is longer in the back and measures 16” in the back. It’s still flattering on my frame even at that length. I’m removing a star because the waistband material seems overlapped or extra thick, which can make the area look bulkier than it usually does in my opinion.
