I can easily tune up straight and serated blades on my knives with the Pivot Plus, small enough to keep in my pack without feeling the weight. \n\nHowever, lock/unlock button doesn't change how much the carbide steel sharpener flexes as much as I expected. I thought \"locked\" mode would prevent any movement, but it restricts it less than 1mm from my perspective. ","text":"Idk if it sharpens better than my first one. Just don’t know if the Stones are going to be able to hold up after a few passes on each with my one try on my knife I tried just now. Following the instructions I found the results very nice. The edges were returned to their original sharpness or better and I found the sharpener was well built and seemed robust I liked the fact it fit well in my pocket and was not bulky. I found also the convenience of using it suited me perfectly. I would highly recommend this for sharpening anything which has an edge that requires maintenance as it also sharpened my wife's knives to her delight. I waited until I used the device several times before I wrote this review and am well satisfied with its operation and my purchase. I will look at the other products from this company and my get other offers from this
