Shipping Policy

1. What shipping methods are available at

SCHEELS products are shipped from our store locations via UPS, FedEx, or USPS, unless specified otherwise as a drop shipment. The available shipping methods for include the following:

Please note:

  • Alaska and Hawaii Shipping: Orders over $75 have a flat rate shipping cost of $19.99 and orders under $75 have a flat rate of $27.99.
  • Ammunition Surcharge: Ammunition has an additional $9.99 surcharge and cannot be shipped to a PO Box; a physical address must be provided.
  • Firearm Surcharge: SCHEELS now offers select firearms that can be shipped to your local store (Ship to Store). A $9.99 flat rate shipping fee applies to ship-to-store orders.
  • Additional Surcharge Items: Large item shipping charges will be added for shipping during checkout in correlation to the specific weight and size of the product.
  • Promotional Shipping Discounts: Additional discounts may apply for qualifying standard ground shipping orders during specific promotional periods. Free shipping on any Super Bowl merchandise.

2. Where does ship? currently ships within the United States; international shipping is not available at this time. The following applies:

  • Alaska and Hawaii have a shipping surcharge
  • All P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO orders will be shipped via USPS or UPS SurePost (2nd Day Shipping and Next Day Shipping does not apply)

3. When will my order ship? shipping time includes processing and transit time. Any orders placed during business hours prior to noon Central Time will be shipped same day or next day, and orders processed after 12 PM will process within two business days.

Items shipping directly from the vendor require extended shipping time. This will be noted on applicable products in your cart.

Large items (LTL freight) may take extra time to ship due to these restrictions. Please allow up to 10 business days to ship these items.

Please Note: Business days are Monday to Friday and do not include Federal holidays within the United States, including Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, the day after Christmas, and New Years Day.

4. What are shipping restrictions? shipping restrictions, include the following:

  • Weekend delivery does not apply for 2nd Day and Next Day shipping
  • Not all items are available for 2nd Day or Next Day shipping
  • Items that are heavy or oversized require a surcharge; shipping charge will be reflected at checkout
  • Certain items will require standard ground shipping, include hazardous, flammable and oversized items

5. What are the ammunition shipping restrictions?

Before ordering ammunition, please check your local laws for any regulations due to the sale or shipment of certain ammunition is a restriction in certain jurisdictions.

6. How are Physical Gift Cards or E-Gift Cards shipped?

7. What are Large Item Shipping (LTL) charges?

For oversized or overweight products, standard ground shipping does not apply (USPS, UPS, FedEx). A surcharge will be added for shipping during checkout in correlation to the specific weight and size of the product. Products with an LTL surcharge include the following — but are not limited to:

  • Basketball Hoops
  • Aqua Lily Pads
  • Grills
  • Ice Houses
  • Treadmills
  • Ellipticals
  • Cycles
  • Weights

Please Note: Most of our LTL drop ship or special orders are shipped directly from the vendor with a standard shipping time frame of 2 to 4 weeks.

8. How long does a Pick Up In Store order take to process?

Our Buy Online Pick Up In Store shopping method allows you to purchase products at and pick up in store at your nearest SCHEELS location for free. Once you’ve placed an order, the following applies:

  • Your order will process within one hour
  • You will receive an email confirmation when your order is ready to pick up in store
  • Your order will be held for 10 days. If it is not picked up within 10 days, the store will return it to the floor and process a refund
  • Once you’ve arrived at the store, go to the customer service counter with a valid ID and order confirmation number

Please Note: If someone else will be picking up your order, they must have a valid ID and order confirmation with your first and last name.

9. How can I track my order?

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with tracking information. The following applies:

  • UPS, FedEx, or USPS tracking information will be provided for standard shipping
  • UPS tracking information will be provided for 2nd Day and Next Day shipping
  • Estes Forwarding Worldwide or Pilot Express will assist with delivering oversized or overweight items, such as exercise equipment
  • FedEx or UPS tracking information will be provided for ammunition
  • Drop ship orders shipped directly from the vendor may receive tracking from a different shipping provider

10. What if I didn’t receive my order?

If your package is marked as "Delivered" but you cannot locate it, please first check with neighbors and household members as well as all areas around your address where it may have been delivered.

  • On occasion, we will have a package returned to us as "Address Undeliverable." In such circumstances, we will return and refund your item(s) upon receiving the shipment back to us. Please ensure your shipping address is able to receive deliveries from USPS, UPS, and Fedex.
  • If your item is stolen or damaged, please contact our customer service team and we will file a claim with the carrier.

11. Can I cancel my order?

We are usually unable to cancel an order once it is placed. In order to get your order to you as quickly as possible, processing begins right away. If it has been less than 30 minutes since your order was submitted, you may contact our customer service team for a cancellation inquiry—however, we cannot guarantee cancellation.
