What is MONDOPOINT?

Ski Boots use a measurement system called Mondopoint , or Mondo for short. It was calculated by simply measuring the length of the foot from the heel to the big toe in centimeters. Please keep in mind that this chart is approximate and that there are different ways to size a ski boot based on ability level and how often you ski, as well as what type of terrain you are accustomed to.

To measure your foot:

  • Place your bare foot on the sheet of paper with your heel lined up with the bottom of the page and your instep lined up with the edge of the page.
  • Mark the position of the tip of your big toe and the widest part of your foot on the paper.
  • Measure the length from the bottom of the paper to the toe mark in centimeters. This length will correspond with your mondo boot size so if your foot is 28cm long, you should buy a size 28 ski boot.
  • Measure the width from the edge of the paper to the mark you made at the widest part of your foot in millimeters. This will correspond to the last width of your ski boots.
  • Measure both feet and use the longest measurement as your Mondo size.

*Not all shoes sizes directly correlate to a specific mondo, it is best practice to measure the skiers foot in CM, MM, or Inches and then cross reference with the Mondo size chart.
