The Dillon Precision RL550C Reloading Press is a versatile reloader that accommodates a variety of cartridges from .32 ACP up to .338 Lapua, .416 Rigby, and .460 Weatherby. This Dillon reloading press features a manually indexed shellplate that makes it easier to control various steps of the reloading process. Changing to a new caliber requires fewer parts than similar machines, making it both faster and less expensive to convert to a different cartridge. This Dillon press comes with both large and small priming parts and powder bars for more versatile use. The Base Model RL550C includes:

• One powder die.
• Low primer alarm.
• One 4-station toolhead.
• One loaded cartridge catch bin.
• One written instruction manual.
• One set of standard Allen wrenches.
• One large and one small pick-up tube.
• One prime system with large and small priming parts.
• Powder measure with standard large and small powder bars (small installed).
  • Small bar throws from 2.1 to 15 grains of powder.
  • Large bar throws up to 55 to 60 grains of powder.

Minimum Accessories Recommended: 

• Caliber Conversion Kit (not included with base unit)
• Die Set (not included with the base unit)
• Powder scale
• Reloading Handbook
• Caliper
• Primer Flip Tray
• Case Lube (for bottleneck cartridges)

To change calibers, you will need:

• A die set for the new caliber.
• A caliber conversion kit.
• If you have the optional electric casefeeder you may need a different casefeed plate.

If you want to leave your dies preset, you'll need:

• Powder Die #20064
• OR the 550 Quick Change Kit  #22058*

* Quick Change Kits include a powder measure, powder die, toolhead and a toolhead stand allowing you to leave your dies and powder charge set up and dedicated to a specific cartridge for faster, easier caliber changes.
