First and foremost, the durability of this decoy bag is impressive. It has withstood thickets and submersion without showing any signs of wear and tear. I think the heavy-duty fabric and robust stitching will help this bag last for many seasons to come. Even after rough usage in muddy terrains, cleaning was a breeze and it looked as good as new afterward, which speaks volumes about its overall construction quality. When it comes to packable space, this decoy bag is a cargo ship. The bag's open layout allows for easy organization, making it simple to load and unload efficiently. The spacious compartments on the sides fit pretty much any specialized decoy you might have, and not having to carry a gun in the hand or on the shoulder is a blessing. Notably, it also features adjustable straps that help minimize bulk when carrying fewer decoys. The mesh drain at the bottom of the bag is great; I pack the wet decoys at the bottom, wet clothing above that, and then a dry bag full of the rest of my items on top. Lastly, comfort during wear is a significant factor for long distance walks. This decoy bag delivers. The padded shoulder straps and back panel offer excellent support, distributing weight evenly and reducing strain on my shoulders and back. I was impressed by how comfortable it felt even after hours of carrying it around the marsh. The breathable mesh lining also keeps me from overheating--that makes all the difference on warmer days! Overall, this decoy bag proves to be an exceptional investment, combining durability, ample packable space, and comfort in a way that enhances my hunting experience. On the way out, throw on a lanyard of mallards and I feel like my neck is being pulled in about 5 directions. This bag takes care of it all. I am super impressed with how comfortable it is and how much I can carry. It is very comfortable, balanced, and can hold lots of decoys. Rig 'Em Right thought of almost everything: the comfortable backpack design with adjustable straps; the square opening (you'll never want to use a pull string again); the gun holder; the mojo pocket and poll slot; the mesh bottom; and the two eye hooks on the inside top of the bag to which you can attach your Texas rigs. It also appears to be made of a quality materials that will last for seasons to come. The bag is also relatively light for the features it includes. I couldn't find anything that comes close to this bag anywhere else on the market, and it is well-worth the price. Two suggestions for future iterations of this bag. First, I recommend adding a waterproof pouch on the back of the bag either by the mojo poll holder or near the top that could be used for ammo, calls, gloves, etc. That would allow hunters to eliminate the need for a blind bag, which would be very helpful on long walks through the marsh. Second, I recommend adding vertical straps on the back of the bag. The bag is very large (which is great), but it sags when packing smaller loads (12 or so decoys). And wanted to wait a couple seasons to test longevity before leaving a review. Pretty good bag!! However there are a few things that could use some work. I’m not a very big guy 5’10” and roughly 165 lbs. So like I said not real big, however the buckle that goes across the chest is barely long enough to fit across me when I have my jacket on, super tight as I’m walking in. Also the black padding on the shoulder straps started to tear after the first season of use. And the strap that holds the gun is pretty slick and tends to loosen the first few times you use it. I actually just took some mud and rubbed on the straps to help take that new slick feeling from the strap. For years I have used sleds to drag gear out to the marsh and always got hung up on the cattails. Once I got my hands on this bag that all changed I can carry two dozen oversized avian x mallard floaters, my SX4, and a lucky duck spinner with poles and still have my hands free. My favorite part about hands free carrying is it makes opening gates and climbing over fences a breeze. In addition I have been using this pack for two years now I have never had a buckle break or loosen up when I was walking. The pack straps that are on the bag are great because you can synch them right to you and their is no sag feeling in the bag and the decoys aren't smacking against your legs the whole walk. With that this is the most quiet way to transport decoys. We hunt a lot of back woods kettle ponds and Marshes. That can be a challenge even if your only bringing a dozen floaters a spinner and couple motion Decoys. With this Pack It's So much Easier. I will have all of that along with my gun, then I strap my blind bag to the back pack and carry a 5 gallon bucket with some extra clothes and few other essentials and still have a free hand to help navigate through the dark woods. We can get a mile or so in with ease. Like 1 other guy said \" It doesn't make things lighter\" but is definitely the best way to manage things. This will be my 3rd Season using this pack and It looks nearly the same as when I got her.
