Went to use it on a trip to Utah in July and the tip came off just above the second ferrule. Rod was always carried in a Plano plastic case and wrapped in a cloth bag. So disappointing to purchase what I thought to be a quality rod and it turns out to be junk. Sixty dollars for them to honor the warrant on a 6 month old rod. I did get a call back and the employee looked up my order number and said that he would take it from there and contact UPS.
