The Chilkoot 0 is my favorite bag because I run cold. Don't order if you're from Canada.\nTheir shippers fill out the paperwork with the wrong amounts. If you buy something on sale, they declare the full price instead. They also send every item with its own tracking number, which results in separate processing fees at the border for each item-even though everything is in the same box and not declared as one package.\nThis means you end up paying duties and taxes on more than you actually paid, plus extra brokerage fees as if each item was ordered separately. When you call them, they say it's FedEx's problem and just throw their hands up. I can honestly say that I slept warm and comfortable in my Son’s Chilkoot on our Caribou hunt in the Western Arctic last September with night time temps in the 20’s with high humidity. Inspired me to get one of my own which I just used on my December elk hunt here in Northern Arizona. Slept warm in base layers and a beanie, no socks or gloves when paired with a thermolite liner and in a light bivy sack. Night time temps were similar to our AK trip.
