It has always stayed fully inflated and provides a very comfortable night sleep. I no longer find myself waking up multiple times throughout the night. It’s very comfortable and packs down quite small. I really like the one way valve for inflating and deflating. It makes the process super easy and cuts out any frustration associated with the process. My only complaint is that they changed the storage bag. It used to have vertical and horizontal straps that you could cinch down to compress it, now it’s just a drawstring bag. This does not pack down small. I would not recommend for backpacking. But, if you have space and don't mind the weight, the combination of air and foam is excellent. I also really like how the foot area lacks the foam and creates a slight drop. The valve is different as it \"flips\" on an axis to change functions, but check out a video on it and you'll be all set. I also ordered a small pump for this, as there's no way I would want to inflate myself.
