Deadly on perch, crappies, sunfish and trout. Fish plain or tip with a small minnow, leech, worm, segmented grub or waxworm. Cast, vertically jig, drift or slow-troll. To keep jig at or above the level of the fish, and prevent it from falling to bottom or into cover, suspend below a small bobber or casting bubble. Ideal around fish-holding cover such asweeds, brush and timber.

Lethal around weeds, brush & timber for Perch, Crappie, Bluegill & Trout
Absolutely love the Northland Gypsi Jig. Have been using it for years on perch, and it consistently outperforms anything else. I had been using the 1/8 ounce Jig, but tragically Northland no longer makes that weight. I've been making do with the 1/16th ounce, but really hope they bring back the 1/8 ounce soon.
Here in Winston-Salem N.C. this is the best lure i have ever used..You don't know what it is until you get it in the boat. fresh or salt water.... Chartreuse is the only color i use... Everyone should try this lure... Wish you still sale them by 25 in a bag... A lot of under water stumps were i go fishing..Gets expensive......
I have tried ALL other lures & gypsi jig is by far the best at attracting & hooking perch i have found. I recently purchased 20 jigs, so i have spares & i will be purchasing many more just in case they become unavailable, it would be devastating to run out of this lure.
The Gypsi Jig is my go to lure for Spring Crappie fishing.I tip my jig with a fathead minnow and have great success. In addition to the crappie I also catch pike, perch, white and largemouth bass and large bluegill, all from the same spot.I have used the Gypsi Jig for ten years and will continue to use it in years to come.
