In April 2000, SCHEELS opened its doors in Lincoln, Nebraska, to an 80,000 square-foot shopping experience showcasing the region’s largest selection of sports, fashion, and shoes under one roof.

In September 2018, a new store was built. Lincoln is now located in a two-level 220,000 square-foot store with over 80 specialty shops. This new store features a Toy Land Shop with a Lego replica of the Cornhusker mascot, Lil’ Red, and over 10 attractions for the entire family to enjoy.
